Weather pending, the Luxemburg-Casco softball team will make the drive to Bucholtz Park in Clintonville to take on the Truckers in NEC play.

The Spartans extended their winning streak to eight with 4-2 and 9-1 wins against Denmark on Friday. In game one, Josie Dorner went 2-3 in the game, while Kate Van Ess and Jillian Jorgensen each went 1-3 with two RBI. Erin Cherovsky went the distance for the Spartans, allowing two runs (2 ER) and seven hits while striking out four. Game 2 featured Payton Kaminski, Jillian Jorgensen, and Rylan Kaminski, all driving in two runs while Josie Dorner clubbed in one. Anna Vandermause was the only hitter for the Spartans with a multi-hit game. Cherovsky was even better in the second game, going the distance again, but this time only allowed one run on five hits.

The Truckers are on the opposite side of the NEC standings with a 2-9 mark (4-13 overall). Both of their conference wins came in a sweep of Little Chute on Friday, which snapped a four-game losing streak and a stretch where they were 1-13. The Spartans beat the Truckers earlier this season, 16-0.

First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.

The Luxemburg-Casco soccer team could not weather Green Bay Preble's offensive attack, losing 6-0 Friday night.

Spartans goalkeepers were tested all night long as they stopped 21 of the 27 shots they faced. Meanwhile, the Hornets' defense held the Spartans to just two shots on goal. 

The Luxemburg-Casco softball team extended their winning streak to eight with 4-2 and 9-1 wins against Denmark on Friday.

In game one, the Spartans jumped to a 4-0 lead with two runs in the first and third innings. The Vikings cut the lead in half in the sixth inning, but they got no closer. Josie Dorner went 2-3 in the game, while Kate Van Ess and Jillian Jorgensen each went 1-3 with two RBI. Erin Cherovsky went the distance for the Spartans, allowing two runs (2 ER) and seven hits while striking out four.

In game two, the Spartans scored four runs in the third inning and three more in the fourth to put a stranglehold on the game. Payton Kaminski, Jillian Jorgensen, and Rylan Kaminski all drove in two runs apiece while Josie Dorner drove in one. Anna Vandermause was the only hitter for the Spartans with a multi-hit game. Tied at two after one inning, Luxemburg-Casco's baseball team tacked on the extra runs needed to get past Green Bay Preble Friday night 4-2.

After giving up two runs right away, the Spartans' Landon Derenne cut the lead in half with a double and scored later on a sacrifice fly delivered by Ryland Day. The Spartans would take the lead one inning later when Michael Bostwick singled home a run. Derenne added an insurance run in the sixth inning with an RBI single that put the game out of reach from the Hornets. 

Jake Chervenka earned the win for the Spartans, allowing four runs and two runs across four innings of work while striking out three.

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans Track Teams dominated their home invitational on Thursday, with the boys and girls winning team titles.

Both teams picked up double-digit wins over Southern Door for championships. On the boys' side, Hudson Thiry (400m), Mason Trimberger (100m hurdles, 300m hurdles), and Trevor Beaupre (long jump, triple jump) picked up individual wins while the Spartans won three of the four relays. For the girls, Madyson VanArk (high jump), Grace Seering (300m hurdles), McKenna Rank (400m) and Sienna Blowhowiak (100m, 200m) won individual titles while the team won two of the four relay events.

Luxemburg-Casco clobbered Waupaca for the second time in three weeks, requiring just five innings to beat them 13-2.

The Spartans answered a 1-0 deficit to the host Comets with ten runs in the third inning. Michael Bostwick delivered the inning's most significant blow when he deposited the fourth pitch of the at-bat over the fence for a three-run homer. Two runs in the fourth and one more in the fifth ended the game despite the Rockets tacking on one more run before calling it a day. Drew Bandow went 3-4 with two RBI in addition to going the distance on the mound, striking out three, and allowing two runs (0 ER) while scattering six hits. Max Thayse went 2-2 with two RBI.

The Comets traveled to Luxemburg to take on the Spartans earlier in the week. The Comets scored one run in the first five innings to take a 5-3 lead. But the Spartans responded with eight runs in the bottom half of the 5th. To take an 11-5 lead and never looked back. The leading hitters for the Spartans were Michael Bostwick 2x4 and Gage Delcore 2x3. Also collecting a hit was Ryland Day, with three walks: Drew Bandow, Max Thayse, and Landon Derenne. Derenne started on the mound, and Bandow came in the 6th to get the win for the Spartans.

The Spartans will welcome Green Bay Preble and the area's local youth baseball teams to the sports complex on Friday for a 4:30 p.m. first pitch.

The Luxemburg-Casco softball team plated three runs in the first inning and never looked back in an 8-1 victory over Little Chute Thursday night.

The three runs were needed after the Mustangs scored in their half of the first inning after they strung together a string of singles with an error in between. The Spartans took advantage of some early game jitters to draw three walks and three singles to take a lead they would not give up. They would put the game out of reach with two runs in the fourth inning and three more in the sixth.

Grace Kahr, Kate Van Ess, and Jillian Jorgensen had two hits in the game. Jorgensen and Rylan Kaminski drove in a pair of runs, while three others registered one RBI. Van Ess won in relief, pitching four innings of two-hit relief while striking out a pair.

The Spartans are back in action Friday with a doubleheader against Denmark at 4 p.m.

The Luxemburg-Casco soccer team needed just one goal to get past their NEC rivals on Thursday, beating Fox Valley Lutheran 1-0 on the road.

Diem Bonness set up the Spartans' lone goal when she booted a corner kick towards the goal mouth. The ball deflected off of a Foxes player and past the goalkeeper into the net. The Spartans' offense did their job challenging the Foxes' defense all night, registering seven shots on net.

Tabi Lemens earned the clean sheet with five saves.

The Spartans are back in action on Friday night when they cross into Brown County to play Green Bay Preble at 6:30 p.m.

The Luxemburg-Casco track team will have hosting duties on Thursday when they welcome several teams for the Spartan Invitational.

Denmark, Oostburg, Sevastopol, Southern Door, and Two Rivers will also be participating in the meet when it begins at 4 p.m.

The Spartans could not participate in their scheduled track meet on Tuesday thanks to storms that rolled through the area. 

The Southern Door track teams posted the top scores in Monday's Door County Classic hosted at Sevastopol. The Eagles boys won 11 events, and the girls captured the top spot in five events respectively, in their wins. For the boys, Zack Lynch (100m and 200m), Mason Motquin (400m), Ben Grota (800m, 3200m, 1600m), Damontrae Meeks (300m hurdles), Grant Pieschek (pole vault) and Alaric Urban (triple jump and long jump) winning their events. Frankie Nellis matched Urban's feat by winning the same two events on the girls' side. Danica Neville (pole vault), and Elise Jackson (100m hurdles) also won their events. 

The Sevastopol track team had hosting duties for this year's Door County Classic Track Meet, boasting one event champion along the way. Cassie Rankin posted a new personal record of 29 feet 5 inches in the shot put to win the event. The 4x400m relay team of Danica Werkheiser, Kylee Duessler, Caitlyn Hasenjager, and Caitlyn Fellner was the only other event win for the Pioneers for the boys and the girls, though they did post a total of 11 top-3 performances to boost their point totals in the meet. 

It was an offensive famine then feast for the Luxemburg-Casco softball team on Monday, but they won both of their games against Fox Valley Lutheran 1-0 and 10-0.

In game one, Anna Vandermause's RBI single was the only breakthrough any team would have as the Spartans were limited to just four hits. Luckily for the Spartans, they didn't need more than that as Erin Cherovsky went the distance, allowing just one hit while striking out seven.

The bats came out in game two as the Spartans scored four in two separate innings as they played just five innings. Rylan Kaminski and Jillian Jorgensen had two hits, combining to drive in five runs. Maggie Hanmann, Josie Dorner, and Katelyn Van Ess also recorded RBI in the win. Baylee Wypiszenski allowed no runs and three hits across five innings of work, striking out four. 

The Luxemburg-Casco soccer team could not claw their way back into the win column Monday night, falling to Wrightstown 2-1.

It was a night that saw the Spartans dominate most statistical categories outside of the final score. The Spartans put 11 shots on goal, but only Aubrey Frey could find the back of the net thanks to an assist from Demi Bonness. Goalkeeper Tabi Lemens stopped three of the five shots she faced in the loss. 

A three-game winning streak is on the line Monday afternoon when the Luxemburg-Casco softball team plays a pair against Fox Valley Lutheran.

The Luxemburg-Casco baseball team won a pair of close games against Wrightstown on Saturday, beating them 2-1 and 3-2.

In game one, the Spartans relied on a Gage Delcore RBI single in the second inning and an RBI groundout by Max Thayse to guide them to victory. Drew Bandow earned the win, allowing three hits and a run across five innings.

In game two, the Spartans scored the first two runs but had to hold on to the win until the bitter end. The Tigers' pitching staff once again limited the Spartans to just three hits. The Tigers didn't even give up an earned run as they were victimized by four errors. Bandow, Landon Derenne, and Carson Blohowiak all recorded hits. Derenne picked up the win, allowing four hits and one run across 4 1/3 while striking out eight.

Down 2-0 going into the top of the second inning, the Spartans batted around and scored five times, capped off by back-to-back run-scoring singles by Paytom Kaminski and Josie Dorner that made it 5-2 early. The Panthers would get back one of the runs, but the Spartans would add two more in the top of fourth inning to ward off any threats of a comeback. Kate Van Ess had the biggest day offensively for the Spartans, going 3-4 while knocking in three runs. Erin Cherovsky earned the win in relief, allowing two hits while striking out eight across the final five innings. 

Seven runs in the second inning was all the Luxemburg-Casco softball team needed in its 11-1 victory over Marinette on Thursday.

Three straight batters reached on errors for the Spartans in the fatal inning for the Marines before Josie Dorner drove home three on a home run to left field. The Marines' Barrett Cole went yard in the next frame, but that would be the lone run the visitors would score against the host Spartans. The game would stay 7-1 until the sixth inning when they scored four more times, ending the game after six innings. Kacie Jorgensen added three hits in the win. Baylee Wypiszenski and Erin Cherovsky teamed up on the impressive performance again from the circle, allowing one run on six hits across six innings while striking out six.

The Luxemburg-Casco soccer team had their most dominating win of the season on Thursday, beating their rivals from Denmark 4-0 on the road.

While the team benefited from an own goal by the Vikings, Emi Kuhn, Kilee Bariaux, and Aubrey Frey put the game well out of reach with their own tallies, with Sophia Mleziva collecting an assist. Goalkeeper Tabi Lemens posted the clean sheet with three saves.

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans baseball team held off a late rally by the Sturgeon Bay Clippers Thursday night to win the non-conference matchup 2-1 under the lights of Memorial Field.

The Spartans got on the scoreboard first when Drew Bandow took advantage of a passed ball in the opening inning, but no one would score again until the sixth inning. That's Max Thayse scored on a wild pitch to make 2-0. The Clippers would capitalize on a Spartans mistake when Bryce Plzak scored on an error to the shortstop. With two men on, Jacob Coisman retired the side with three straight strikeouts for the Spartans. 

The teams combined to have more errors (5) than hits (4) while pitchers piled up 14 strikeouts. Plzak registered the lone RBI in the game despite not having a hit. The Clippers' Danny Lodl and Bryson LaRoche and the Spartans' Bandow and Landon Derenne were the only ones to reach via a hit.

The Luxemburg-Casco golf team will step out of conference action to face various teams from across the region on Thursday.

Brillion, De Pere, Denmark, Kiel, Manitowoc Lincoln, Mishicot, New Holstein, Roncalli, Sheboygan Falls, St. Lawrence Seminary, Valders, and Wrightstown will also meet Seven Lakes Golf Course in Reedsville.

Tee time is set for 11 a.m.

Whether you call it an accomplishment or a punishment, there will be a new team state champion at Division 2 for wrestling after Luxemburg-Casco lost its appeal earlier this week.

According to WisSports.net, Luxemburg-Casco appealed their anticipated elevation to Division 1 after winning their second straight team state championship in their third consecutive appearance. Because of that success, they joined Fennimore, Prairie du Chien, and Coleman in moves to different divisions for the 2024-2025. Kaukauna has had similar success to those programs, but they are already at Division 1 and cannot move. While Fennimore accepted their fate, Coleman Luxemburg-Casco and Prairie du Chien tried stopping their moves through the appeal process but were ultimately denied. In fact, the WIAA denied 11 of the 12 appeals, only accepting the Albany/Monticello girls basketball team's request to stay at Division 5. Head Coach Chas Treml was asked about the likely move shortly after they won their team state championship, saying that they would be prepared for the challenge.

Erin Cherovsky and Baylee Wypiszenski held things down in the pitcher's circle on Tuesday as the Luxemburg-Casco softball team shut out Kewaunee 3-0.

The pitching duo limited the Storm to no runs on three hits while they struck out nine batters. The Storm's Baleigh Saxby was the closest to solving the Spartans' puzzle, going 2-3 on the day.

Jenna Rohr did her part to keep the Storm in the game, allowing three runs on eight hits across seven innings. An RBI single in the first inning by Rylan Kaminski proved to be the only run the Spartans would need, with Payton Kaminski and Josie Dorner added insurance RBI in the fifth inning. 

The Luxemburg-Casco soccer team struggled to get many shots off against Sheboygan Falls on Tuesday night in their 4-1 loss.

The Spartans could only muster five shots on goal during the game, with Emi Kuhn's strike coming off a feed from Diem Bonness the lone tally, allowing the Falcons to enter the second half with a 3-1 lead. The Falcons' Lillian Reinl scored twice and Addison Schliewe registered a goal and an assist. They tested Spartans' netminder Tabi Lemens throughout the game, with the senior stopping 10 of the 14 shots she faced on goal. 

The Luxemburg-Casco track team won the girls' side and very nearly won the boys' side at Tuesday's Clintonville Pent, which also featured the host school, Denmark, Freedom, and Oconto Falls.

The girls toppled second-place Freedom by 18 points to capture the win. Posting first place finishes for the Spartans included Claire DuChateau (1600m), Grace Seering (100m hurdles and triple jump), Madyson VanArk (high jump), and the 4x200m relay. The Spartans also posted six other results in the top three, including a three-way tie for second place behind VanArk in the high jump.

Trevor Beaupre was responsible for the lone event win for the Spartans on the boy's side, setting a season-best in the triple jump. The Spartans also posted four other top-three performances that were cut off after the 400m due to weather.

The Luxemburg-Casco baseball team bounced back from a 4-2 loss in the front end of a doubleheader to win the second game 9-1.

In game one, an early homer by the Irish set the tone, but the Spartans tied the game in the fifth inning when they took advantage of two mistakes to score a pair of runs. The Irish answered with a run in the bottom of the fifth and sixth innings to secure the win. Caleb Radar recorded the lone hit for the Spartans.

The bats came alive in the second game for the Spartans as they sprayed seven hits and took advantage of five Irish errors. The Spartans scored at least one run in the game's first five innings, including a pair in the second and four more in the fourth inning. Ryland Day went 2-4 on the day, recording two RBI in the process. Six other Spartans recorded a hit, with Gage Delcore and Drew Bandow registering a RBI a piece. Landon Derenne earned the win as he allowed one run (1 ER) on four hits across seven innings while striking out 10.

The Luxemburg-Casco softball team was down 7-0 before they could get on the scoreboard in a 9-4 loss to Freedom on Monday.

After a scoreless first inning, the Irish scored in every other inning in front of their home crowd, including crooked numbers in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.

Maggie Hanmann's grand slam represented the only runs the Spartans scored in the game and one of just six hits they had during the game. Kacie Jorgensen led the Spartans with two hits. All three Spartans pitchers gave up at least two runs in the loss. Isabella Day and Brooke Sowinski each had three hits for the Irish in their victory.

The Spartans are back in action on Tuesday when they face Kewaunee on the road at 4:30 p.m.

The Luxemburg-Casco softball team scored at least three runs in three of its innings Friday night to cruise past Wrightstown 12-2 in six innings.

The Tigers took an early 2-0 lead in the first inning, but the Spartans would get one of those runs back in the second before putting up three in the third and five more in the fourth inning to take control of the game. The Spartans invoked the slaughter rule in the sixth inning with three runs in what ended up being the final inning.

Six different Spartans drove in at least one run, led by Maggie Hanmann's four RBI on a 2-4 day, including a three-run bomb in the fourth inning. Jillian Jorgensen drove in a pair of runs, while Hanmann, Josie Dorner, and Kacie Jorgensen all had multi-hit games. Baylee Wypiszenski earned the win with five innings pitched, allowing five hits and two runs (0 ER).

Luxemburg-Casco and Peshtigo could count on the wind to act as a 12th player, but the Bulldogs took advantage in a 3-2 win Friday night.

The Spartans were efficient shooters against the Bulldogs, with Emi Kuhn and Diem Bonness connecting on two of the team's four shots on the night. Goalkeeper Tabi Lemens stopped seven of the ten shots he faced, with the wind playing tricks on at least one of the Bulldogs' goals.

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans baseball team scored seven runs in the final two innings to beat Two Rivers 9-3 on the road Friday afternoon.

The two teams traded runs early on, with the Spartans tying the game at two in the fifth inning thanks to a Michael Bostwick sacrifice fly. The Spartans would go on to score four runs in the sixth inning and three more in the seventh to secure the victory. Jake Chervenka, Carson Blohowiak, Caleb Radar, and Gage Delcore all drove in runs, with Blohowiak going 2-4 with three RBI to lead the Spartans offensively. Chervenka picked up the win by allowing three hits and three runs (1 ER) while striking out five.

The Luxemburg-Casco Softball team improved to 5-0 with their victory over  Waupaca on Thursday, defeating the Comets 9 - 1.   

Waupaca got on the board in the first inning, scoring one run on a fielder's choice.   The Spartans captured the lead, 4-1, in the top of the second after Jillian Jorgensen singled, Anna Vandermause singled, Grace Kahr hit a sacrifice fly, and Payton Kaminski singled, each scoring one run.

Wypiszenski earned the win for L-C.  She gave up one hit and one run over five innings, striking out five and walking one.  Erin Chervosky tossed two innings of no-run ball for Luxemburg-Casco in relief.  

The Spartans piled up 14 hits in the game.  Kahr led L-C going 2 for 2 in the leadoff position, while J. Jorgensen and P. Kaminskin went 2 for 3 and 2 for 4 respectively.

L-C looks to improve to 3-0 in conference as they return to action tonight at home against the Wrightstown Tigers.  

The Luxemburg-Casco baseball team had seven baserunners but could only muster a few runs in a 3-2 loss Thursday to Marinette. 

The Marines opened up a 2-0 lead before Jake Chervenka's RBI single cut the lead in half in the second inning and an error tied the game at two in the third inning. The Marines earned the win in the bottom of the sixth when Sam Sommerfeldt's sacrifice fly drove in the tie-breaking run. Braeden Schley took the loss on the mound for the Spartans, going the distance allowing three runs (1 ER) and striking out four. 

Luxemburg-Casco and Freedom's soccer teams drew blood but not much else in a 1-1 tie Thursday night in Luxemburg.

Freedom's aggressiveness helped them beat goalkeeper Tabi Lemens once in their six shots on goal, but Claire Marohl delivered the goal to keep it a 1-1 score. Aubrey Frey nearly won the game when her kick crossed the goalline into the net, but the officials called that it had not entered the goalmouth before the game-ending buzzer.

The Spartans are back in action Friday night at 5 p.m. when they play a non-conference fixture against Peshtigo. The Bulldogs challenged NEW Lutheran with eight shots on goal, but could only muster a 1-1 draw against the Blazers on Tuesday in their first match of the year.

A 10-run second inning provided all the scoring the Luxemburg-Casco baseball team would need in a 13-7 win over Marinette on Tuesday.

The Spartans took advantage of three errors and nine walks to score their 13 runs despite being outhit 6-5. Michael Bostwick and Ryland Day each drove in two runs and Max Thayse and Braeden Schley each drove in one run. The Marines' Chase MacGregor was 2-5 with one RBI as he homered in the second inning. 

The two teams meet again in Marinette today at 4:30 p.m.

The Luxemburg-Casco golf team finished 20 strokes behind Wrightstown to take second in Tuesday's North Eastern Conference meet.

The Spartans scored a 357 at Irish Waters Golf Course near Freedom, which was two strokes better than Waupaca and Fox Valley Lutheran.

James Glampe paced the Spartans with an 83 on the 18 hole golf course, which was good for fifth place. Lance Cherovsky finished in the top 10 with a score of 86 while teammates Landen Delebreau (13th, 90), Stanley Peot (23rd, 98), and Bryce Longlais (23rd, 98) all finished in the Top 25.

Luxemburg-Casco defeated Seymour 3-2 in the first of two games played on Tuesday in Luxemburg and then shutout the Southern Door Eagles 10-0 in the nightcap.  

Seymour scored in the first inning after an error scored one run.  A double by Grace Kahr gave Luxemburg the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the fourth.  The Spartans knocked another run across the plate in the bottom on the fifth.  The Thunder were able to close the gap to one in the top of the sixth, but Wypiszenski recorded three consecutive outs to seal the victory for the Spartans in the top of the seventh.

Kate VanEss started the game and recorded the first six outs.  Baylee Wypiszenski earned the win for the Spartans.  She surrendered two hits and one run over five innings, striking out five and walking two.

In the nightcap, the Spartans topped Southern Door 10-0 in six innings. Kate VanEss gave L-C the lead in the second inning, driving in four runs with a Grand Slam to left field.  Luxemburg-Casco added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Josie Dorner and Rylan Kaminski each singled, Jillian Jorgensen drew a walk, and Kacie Jorgensen doubled.  The Spartans added another run in the fifth, and the final run in the bottom of the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Josie Dorner. 

Luxemburg will return to the diamond on Thursday as they travel to Waupaca to take on the Comets.

All seven of the area's track teams will be in action in three different locales on Tuesday afternoon.

Algoma, Gibraltar, Kewaunee, and Sevastopol will compete in Institute as part of two Packerland Conference meets. NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy, Peshtigo, Southern Door, and Sturgeon Bay will compete in Oconto. Both meets begin at 4:30 p.m.

Luxemburg-Casco will head to Waupaca for the North Eastern Conference meet featuring Freedom, Little Chute, Oconto Falls, and the host school. The first events there begin at 4 p.m.  

Luxemburg-Casco softball team won their first conference matchup of the season, defeating the Clintonville Truckers 15-0 in five innings.  The Spartans jumped out to a five-nothing lead at the bottom of the first inning.  Eight more runs crossed the plate in the third inning, highlighted by Rylan Kaminski’s three-run shot over the left-center fence.  Kate Van Ess earned the win for L-C, surrendering three hits and zero runs over three innings.  The Spartans accumulated 14 hits in the game.  Jillian Jorgensen went 3 for 3 at the plate with 3 RBIs.    Katie Van Ess and Grace Kahr were each two for three, while Rylan Kaminski’s four plate appearances resulted in 3 walks and a 3-run homer.

The Spartans return to action against the Seymour Thunder on Tuesday at home, first pitch at 4:30.

The Luxemburg-Casco baseball team wiped away memories of Saturday's loss to Oconto Falls as they beat the Panthers 4-1 Monday afternoon.

An RBI single by Michael Bostwick in the second inning and a sacrifice fly by Ryland Day in the third inning staked the Spartans to a 2-0 lead. The Panthers would cut the lead in half in the fourth inning, only to have the Spartans stretch it out to a 4-1 advantage in the sixth inning when a pickoff attempt went awry for the Panthers.

Day went 2-2 with an RBI, while four others registered at least one hit. Drew Bandow dominated the Panthers from the mound, striking out 11 across 6 1/3 innings.

State medals weren't enough for eight Luxemburg-Casco wrestlers as they were named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association Character and Leadership All-American and All-Scholars teams.

Jake Jandrin, Michael Bostwick, Caleb Delebreau, Isaac Jerabek, Max Ronsman, Sam Schutz, Trace Schoenebeck, and Ezra Waege were named to the team in collaboration with the United States Marine Corps. The recognition is for athletes who have shown exceptional leadership skills and are of sound character. Hundreds of wrestlers from across the country were named to the squad.

Sam Schutz, Max Ronsman, Isaac Jerabek, Caleb Delebreau, Ethan Werner, Blakelee Bastien, and Carson Neubert were named to the NWCA Scholar All-America Team, also given out to hundreds nationwide. To be nominated for this award, the wrestler must have a 3.5 or higher GPA and be a 2023-24 Varsity Letter winner.

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans finished in eighth place out of ten teams at the opening NEC golf meet of the season held at Twin Oaks Golf Club in Denmark on Monday.

James Glampe paced the Spartans with a score of 86, 10 strokes behind the winner, Jacob Zwiers of Little Chute. Wrightstown and Little Chute won the meet with a score of 357 as they combined to place six in the top 12. You can find the rest of the scorecard here.

Luxemburg-Casco will join its NEC rivals on the links on Monday for its first meet of the season in Denmark.

Clintonville, Denmark, Fox Valley Lutheran, Freedom, Little Chute, Marinette, Oconto Falls, Waupaca, and Xavier will join the Spartans at Twin Oaks Golf Course in Denmark. The tee time is set for 9 a.m.

James Glampe and Landen Delebreau are coming off appearances in last year's Wrightstown Sectional Meet as sophomores.
