L-C dances their heart out

No hardware was brought home but plenty of memories were made by the Luxemburg-Casco Dance Team at Saturday's Wisconsin Association of Cheer/Pom Coaches State Competition.

The Spartanettes competed against 12 other teams in the D3 Pom competition, with New Berlin Eisenhower taking the top prize. It was the 15th straight year the dance team represented Luxemburg-Casco at the state competition.

Luxemburg-Casco boys making late season charge

The Luxemburg-Casco boys’ basketball team is streaking up the North Eastern Conference standings like a scene out of a Will Ferrell movie. At 8-4 (9-5 overall), the Spartans are within striking distance of Freedom for second place. They’ve won four in a row and Clintonville, who L-C beat Friday night by 15, was the only challenge for a while. The Spartans next three games are against teams below .500.

Luxemburg-Casco is at Menasha on Monday night.
