L-C anglers miss cut at national competition

Luxemburg-Casco's two fishing teams had a little more success on day two, but it was not enough to spend an extra day in South Carolina for the BASSMASTER High School Nationals competition.

Riley Richard and Jacob Treml took 71st place, catching five fish for a total of 13 pounds. Isaac Jerabek and John Hanmann came in 379th with a total catch of three fish for four pounds. You had to be in the top 12 to go onto the third day of the competition. Wyatt Richards and Colby Goforth of Pickens County High School in Georgia are leading the competition after two days with six fish at 23 pounds.
