The Luxemburg-Casco baseball team had seven baserunners but could only muster a few runs in a 3-2 loss Thursday to Marinette. 

The Marines opened up a 2-0 lead before Jake Chervenka's RBI single cut the lead in half in the second inning and an error tied the game at two in the third inning. The Marines earned the win in the bottom of the sixth when Sam Sommerfeldt's sacrifice fly drove in the tie-breaking run. Braeden Schley took the loss on the mound for the Spartans, going the distance allowing three runs (1 ER) and striking out four.
