The Luxemburg-Casco baseball team bounced back from a 4-2 loss in the front end of a doubleheader to win the second game 9-1.

In game one, an early homer by the Irish set the tone, but the Spartans tied the game in the fifth inning when they took advantage of two mistakes to score a pair of runs. The Irish answered with a run in the bottom of the fifth and sixth innings to secure the win. Caleb Radar recorded the lone hit for the Spartans.

The bats came alive in the second game for the Spartans as they sprayed seven hits and took advantage of five Irish errors. The Spartans scored at least one run in the game's first five innings, including a pair in the second and four more in the fourth inning. Ryland Day went 2-4 on the day, recording two RBI in the process. Six other Spartans recorded a hit, with Gage Delcore and Drew Bandow registering a RBI a piece. Landon Derenne earned the win as he allowed one run (1 ER) on four hits across seven innings while striking out 10.
