Eagles football falls to Huskies

The Southern Door football teams scored at the end of each half, but it was not enough to keep up with New Holstein in their 35-15 loss last Friday.

The Huskies jumped out to a 16-0 lead in the first quarter and never let go of the advantage, outscoring the Eagles 19-15 over the final three quarters.

Caleb Delwiche completed nine of his 19 passes, but two of them went for touchdowns as he guided the offense for 41 yards. Delwiche added another 33 yards on the ground to complement Raymond Paye's 91 yards and Isaac Rouer's 59 yards. DeMauri Parks and Ryker Lohrey registered a receiving touchdown each with Parks leading the team with 11 yards.

The Eagles will try to bounce back on Friday when they visit Shicoton for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
