Mikala Gorham was the only Vikings player who could solve the Eagle's defense on Monday night as Gibraltar fell to Suring on the road 68-31.
Gorham registered all 12 points for the Vikings in the first half, half of which came on a pair of threes. The Eagles meanwhile exploded for 40 points, with Paige Pommerich and Bunny Cramer each reaching double figures. The Vikings would get more contributions as Gorham went on to have a 22-point evening. Megan Schar knocked down a three-pointer while Celeste Jauregui, Bridget Tepe, and Josie Martin all scored two points.
Cramer paced all scorers with 33 points for the Eagles, while her teammates Pommerich and Christensen also reached double figures.
