The Casco A's hope the third time is the charm when it comes to potentially clinching the top seed in the upcoming Shoreland League playoffs when they travel to Algoma on Sunday night.
Winners of six straight, the A's have scored at least six runs in four of their wins, topping Ashwaubenon 11-1 in their last game. The last time they lost was to the Guins at home on June 27th. In that game, the A's found themselves in an early hole after the Guins scored five runs in the second inning, thanks in part to a two-run double by Jaden Dillar. The Guins used that win to start a three-game winning streak, only to lose their last three games with two rainouts against the A's mixed in.
First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
