Kewaunee boys flip the script

The Kewaunee High School boys basketball team has had two nonconference losses this season by a combined six points. Friday night, it was the Storm picking up a win in a close contest outside of the Packerland when they defeated Denmark 63-59.
The Vikings have played some familiar opponents this year including Marinette and Southern Door, winning both of those games. The result would suggest the January 21st showdown in Brussels between the Storm and Eagles has a legitimate chance at deciding the conference’s regular season champion.

Kewaunee’s next game is Friday, January 3rd against NEW Lutheran.

Storm wrestlers nearly take own title

Three Kewaunee Storm wrestlers nearly led the way for the team to claim their own tournament's championship on Saturday.

For the second place Storm, Jack Severin (126), Logan Steinhorst (132), and Jason Reinke (195) each went 5-0 on the day to win their weight classes. The team also had four other wrestlers finish in the top three.
