An afternoon start time and a running clock in the second half helped Sevastopol come home early after beat St. John's Northwestern 48-0.

Both Pioneers quarterbacks shined as Reid LeClair went 4/6 for 94 yards and one touchdown with 14 yards and a score on the ground while Bo Tanck went 4/5 for 92 yards and two touchdowns with 19 yards and one touchdown rushing. Cash Kuehn played a major role in their success, recording five receptions for112 yards and two touchdowns.

Roman LeClair had six carries for 72 yards and a 44-yard receiving touchdown to go along with his pick six touchdown.

The 2026 campaign for the Sevastopol football team begins on Friday afternoon when they face St. John's Northwestern in Delafield.

The Pioneers are coming off a successful run in the playoffs where they won two games before running into a tough Oakfield team. A big reason why for their success was All-State quarterback Logan Schuh, who along with All-Conference selections Austin Pagels, Reid Kacmarynski, Liam Schultz, and Chase Haberli, has graduated. The Pioneers still have plenty of talent coming back with All-Conference selections Harry Schartner, Raynauldo Johnson, Cash Kuehn, and Bo Tanck all set to return.

A 22-16 win over Williams Bay was the lone bright spot for the Lancers in a season where they failed to break 10 points five times.
