Sevastopol's trip to Oshkosh came up empty as they lost to Valley Christian 42-22 on Friday.

Bo Tanck was 16-33 passing for 168 yards and two touchdowns while also accumulating 37 yards on the ground rushing on five carries. Cash Kuehn led the receiving corps with six receptions and 108 yards while Reid LeClair had five grabs for 53 yards and a touchdown, nearly matching Ray Johnson's four catches for 54 yards and a score. Kuehn also provided a highlight on defense with an interception.

The Sevastopol Pioneers play on the road for the second week in a row on Friday when they travel to Neenah to face Valley Christian.

Ranked sixth in the Bound Wisconsin poll, the Pioneers beat St. John's Northwestern 48-0. Both Pioneers quarterbacks shined as Reid LeClair went 4/6 for 94 yards and one touchdown with 14 yards and a score on the ground while Bo Tanck went 4/5 for 92 yards and two touchdowns with 19 yards and one touchdown rushing. Cash Kuehn played a major role in their success, recording five receptions for112 yards and two touchdowns. Roman LeClair had six carries for 72 yards and a 44-yard receiving touchdown to go along with his pick six touchdown.

The Crusaders cruised to their own lopsided victory, beating Montello 47-0. Sam Gloudemans ran for 105 yards and three touchdowns on just seven carries to pace the Crusaders.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Two Door County teams found themselves at the top of the table at Tuesday's volleyball tournament hosted by Bonduel.

Sevastopol won its four matches to win the tournament, beating Southern Door 25-16  29-27, Bonduel 25-16  25-23,  Crandon 25-12  25-11, and Suring 25-15  25-23. 

The Eagles finished behind the Pioneers in the day's standings, taking 2nd place.

The 2026 campaign for the Sevastopol football team begins on Friday afternoon when they face St. John's Northwestern in Delafield.

The Pioneers are coming off a successful run in the playoffs where they won two games before running into a tough Oakfield team. A big reason why for their success was All-State quarterback Logan Schuh, who along with All-Conference selections Austin Pagels, Reid Kacmarynski, Liam Schultz, and Chase Haberli, has graduated. The Pioneers still have plenty of talent coming back with All-Conference selections Harry Schartner, Raynauldo Johnson, Cash Kuehn, and Bo Tanck all set to return.

A 22-16 win over Williams Bay was the lone bright spot for the Lancers in a season where they failed to break 10 points five times.
