The Mighty Pioneers will be one sport heavier in the upcoming year.

Soccer will be available this fall to boys and girls in grades 5-8 from Sevastopol and Gibraltar schools. Similar to its high school programs, the Mighty Pioneers soccer teams will be a co-op. The Mighty Pioneers saluted Stephanie Ayer for working so hard to organize this opportunity in a recent Facebook post.

A mandatory fall meeting will be held for all participants in Mighty Pioneer Fall Sports on August 3rd, at 6:00 PM in Sevastopol's Elementary gym.

Sevastopol's Laci Lautenbach added another accolade to her high school career a month after the WIAA state meet took place.

Lautenbach posted the 4th best high jump height out of all the divisions where she finished in 3rd place with a jump of 5’2”  at the Division 3 State meet. To become All-State, it has to be one of the top 6 marks among all the divisions.
