Pioneers boys start new season at Randolph

Records are thrown out the window Tuesday night when Sevastopol travels to Randolph for their WIAA Division 5 matchup.

The Pioneers are looking for their first win since December when they rattled off consecutive wins over Wausaukee and Stockbridge. It went winless in the Packerland Conference including a 77-30 loss to Oconto in the season finale last week. Jack deYoung leads the team in scoring with over 13 points a game while Carter Bieri is nearly averaging a double-double at almost nine points and rebounds per game.

The Blue Jays have not lost since December, going 21-2 in the regular season. That includes 60-36 win over Markesan in their undefeated conference season finale last week. Led by Sam Grieger (22.2 ppg, 7.7 rpg) and Travis Alvin (18 ppg, 11.1 rpg), the Blue Jays are coming off an appearance in sectionals last season.

Tip is set for 7 p.m.
