Wolves football look to finish seasons strong vs. Suring

He did most of his damage from the ground, going for three touchdowns and nearly 190 yards.

The Pioneers need to win out for consideration into the WIAA Eight-Player Football bracket. They picked up a big 20-18 win over Suring last week when Logan Schuh found Logan Retzlaff for their second score of the game in the fourth quarter. It was just part of Schuh's big day that included 192 yards rushing.

The Algoma Wolves will take a trip around the Bay of Green Bay to Peshtigo for a Packerland conference matchup.

Before that loss, the Wolves were playing good soccer, and will have to go back to that in this one against the Bulldogs. These two teams matched up earlier this season, and it was Algoma picking up their first win of the season winning 2-1.

Peshtigo (1-6 Packerland, 2-8 Overall), has had a challenging season so far, with their lone conference win coming against the Kewaunee Storm. However, their most recent match against Gibraltar/Sevastopol was close, as the Bulldogs lost in 2-1 fashion. If Peshtigo can build off of that close contest, they could end their season on a high note.

The match is set to begin at 4:00 in Peshtigo.
