The DCU girls' high school swim team earned their first conference win over Clintonville High School with a total score of 88-49.

Freshman Brennan Rass (SEV) finished first in both the 50 and 100 yard Freestyle, contributing 12 points to the overall team score. She was followed closely behind by her senior sister, Shaeffer Rass (SEV), who placed first in the 100-yard Breaststroke and 2nd in the 200-yard Individual Medley, contributing 10 points to the team score.

The relays were also very successful during this dual. The 200-yard Medley Relay, consisting of Quinn Sperber (SDHS), Shaeffer Rass, Hazel Monfils (SDHS), and Ashlyn Sixel (SDHS), placed first. They were closely followed by another DCU relay consisting of Brennan Rass, Jillian Peterson (SDHS), Mia Olson (SBHS), and Rachel Rock (SEV). The first and second place finish added 12 points to the overall team score.

The team will travel to St. Norbert College on Saturday, September 19th for the Notre Dame Invite. Their next conference matchup will be Thursday, September 24th at the Door County YMCA versus Marinette High School. Swimming starts at 6:00 p.m.
