The Southern Door Eagles take flight on Friday to Oconto to take on the Blue Devils.

In their 26-0 homecoming loss to Peshtigo last week, the Eagles fell behind early, allowing Bulldog running back Cody Nesberg to escape on a 64-yard touchdown run on just the second offensive play of the game.  Quarterback Caleb Delwiche was knocked out of the game with an injury, and the Bulldogs would add another touchdown when Zac Schonfeld blocked a Kody Wagaman punt, scooping and scoring a touchdown all by himself.  A successful 2-point try put the game at the 20-0 halftime score.  One shining moment in the half for the Eagles would be an interception by William Price, but even that came with a grey cloud hanging over it as almost half of his return was wiped out by a block in the back penalty.  Freshman Quarterback Beau Schley led the Eagles the rest of the game at QB.

The Blue Devils throttled Sturgeon Bay 42-6 last week after allowing an early touchdown to the Clippers. Most of the damage occurred in the second half after the Blue Devils took a 7-6 lead into the break. The Blue Devils blocked a kick and forced five interceptions in the Clippers loss.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
