Southern Door, Kewaunee set to race at Chilton

The Southern Door and Kewaunee cross country teams head to Chilton for an invitational on Thursday.

 

Both teams traveled to the campus of UW-Green Bay last Thursday for the James Boyd Invitational Cross Country Meet hosted by De Pere. Malania Veeser led the Eagles girls with a fourth-place finish and a time of 20:21. Amber Geisel, Savannah Herbst, and Evelynne Jeanquart achieved personal bests on the 5K course. For the boys, Colton Valley led the Eagles with top 50 performance and sub-20 5K time. The Storm's Natalie Miller led the way on the girls' side with a 10th-place finish and a time of 23:02. Gage Vlies cracked the Top 40 for the boys with a time of 21:36. 

 

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Hilbert, Chilton, NEWCHAA, New London, Wrightstown, and Chesterton Academy will also compete in the invite beginning at 4 p.m.
