The Oconto Blue Devils scored at least two runs in each of the first four innings as the Southern Door Eagles baseball team saw their season come to a close on Thursday with an 11-1 loss.
The Eagles were outhit 10-2 in the contest with Caleb Guilette and Kody Wagaman recording the lone knocks. The Eagles scored their lone run in the fourth inning trailing 7-0 when Wagaman singled in Will Price while Hoyt Austad was cut down advancing to third. The game ended in the fifth inning when the Eagles came up empty after the Blue Devils scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
Price took the loss for the Eagles, allowing five runs (2 ER) on four hits while striking out one.
The Eagles finish the season 2-21.
