The top-seeded Southern Door softball team earned the right to host the regional final Thursday night after defeating Chilton 11-2 on Tuesday. The Eagles now face the No. 4 seed, the Brillion Lions, who defeated Kewaunee 9-3 in Brillion.

Alanah Kaye led the Eagles from the circle Tuesday night, striking out 14 and allowing runs only in the sixth inning. The sixth nearly did not happen, but a baserunning mistake erased the mercy-rule run as rain began to fall.

Brillion trailed the Storm 3-2 heading into the fifth inning of its regional semifinal but broke the game open with a seven-run inning to end any hopes of a comeback.

Jacob Nate and Adam Collins will have the call from Brussels, where first pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Thursday on U-102.1 and the NEW Radio Sports Network.
