Southern Door had a tough day Saturday, dropping an 8-1 baseball decision to Roncalli.

The Jets got going early, putting up four in the first two innings and wouldn't slow down. Victor Anzia carried the offense, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs, and Kory Wilke was sharp in the circle all day, striking out seven over seven innings. Seven stolen bases kept the pressure on Southern Door throughout.

Will Price had the Eagles’ lone RBI on three combined hits for Southern Door. Mac Hoffman took the loss, battling two innings on the mound.

The Eagles travel to Oconto on Thursday.
