Eagles golf hosting conference meet at Idlewild Golf Course

The Southern Door golf team is gearing up for this Thursday as they are set to host the fifth Packerland meet of the season. The schools to be in attendance are Gibraltar, Kewaunee, Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy, Oconto, Peshtigo, Sevastopol, and Southern Door. 

 

The Packerland golfers last competed in back-to-back meets this past Monday. They first competed at Little River Country Club, which saw Kewaunee take first with a score of 184, three strokes better than second-place Gibraltar with a 187, followed by Southern Door with a 189. Carding the best scores at this course were Evan MacCaux (Kewaunee) and Nolan Viestenz (Oconto). Nick Mans (Peshtigo) shot a 43, Lance Veeser (Southern Door) shot a 44, Lauren Ahrdt (Peshtigo) and Bairen Lhost (Gibraltar) each shot a 45. 

 

The second round was played at Vernon Hills, where the Storm again came out victorious, shooting a 179. Southern Door and Gibraltar tied for second with scores of 182. MacCaux led the way with a 36, not a stroke over par. Veeser trailed with a 42, and Ahrdt and Lhost each shot a 43.

 

The tee time is set for 4:00 p.m.
