Eagles track and field team hosts conference meet

The Southern Door track and field team will host a conference meet on Tuesday, welcoming Kewaunee, Peshtigo, and Sturgeon Bay.

 

The Eagles’ last meet was at UW-Oshkosh, where they excelled in distance events. Addison Miller took third in the two-mile, Emma Bousley finished 12th in the mile, and Malania Veeser and Skya Scrimgeour each placed in the top 11 in the 800-meter.

 

The Clippers also competed at UW-Oshkosh. Delany Skiba took second in the two-mile and placed 24th in the 800-meter. Talia Schmidt set personal bests in the 60-meter and 200-meter.

 

The Storm’s last outing was at the Manitowoc Lutheran Invitational. Blake Bortolini led the boys with a fifth-place finish in the shot put, while Seth Chevalier placed sixth in the pole vault. For the girls, Noelie El Kout won the 800-meter and was part of the fourth-place 4x800 relay team with Elynor Heidel, Mia Ihlenfeldt, and Hannah Miller. Miller also took second in the triple jump.

 

The meet begins at 4:30 p.m.
