Facing Sturgeon Bay for the second time this season, Southern Door took the initiative and defended home court to pick up their 4th win on the season, 58-42.
In fact, the Eagles have doubled their season win total this week after grabbing a pair of wins.
The last time the teams played, the story was different and in favor of the Clippers, but Friday night the Eagles took a first half lead through the end of the game. It was a slow start for both offenses, 23-15 SD lead at halftime.
In the second half, Lauden Berg helped pace Southern Door finishing with a game-high 19 points.
Sturgeon Bay will finally make up a game postponed with Oconto Saturday Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. and the Eagles will travel to face Algoma Monday at 7 p.m.
