Eagles split in Saturday action at Brillion

Southern Door started their Saturday with a sweep of Green Bay West before falling to the tournament hosts Brillion in straight sets. 

The Eagles opened with a dominant first set defeating West 25-9 and then closed the door with a 25-21 sweep. 

They dropped both sets to Brillion and lost 0-2, but remained competitive throughout losing 25-15 and 25-18. 

The Eagles, 3-4 and sixth in conference play, have a chance to swap places with the Pioneers who hold fifth at 3-3 in the Packerland. Southern Door, 15-12 on the season, has one remaining match with Sevastopol that will close out the regular season on Thursday October 16th at 7 p.m.
