The Southern Door girls cross country team took home the Panther Invite title thanks in part to its freshman phenom.
Malania Veeser's 5K time of 19:41 was not just good enough to take fourth place overall, but also set a new personal record and school record in the process. Teammate Emma Bousley also secured a Top 10 finish with her time of 20:13. The success helped them edge second-place Valders 63-65 for the win. On the boys' side, Colton Valley set a personal record with a 5K time of 18:18 to take 12th overall and help the team take seventh.
