The Door County United swim team is back in action this Thursday when they hit the road to Shawano for a dual meet.
DCU is coming off a first-place finish at the Plymouth Invitational. They won decisively with 425 points, 45 points ahead of Oregon. Several athletes delivered standout performances that contributed to the team's success. The 400-yard freestyle relay team, of Julia Michalski, Megan Quaderer, Amelia Michalski, and Kailyn Neville, earned a first-place finish. Individually, Kailyn Neville secured first-place finishes in both the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle races; Julian Michalski won the 200-yard medley.
The races begin at 6:00 pm.
