The Southern Door girls cross country team brought home hardware after winning the Chilton Invitational on Thursday.
The Eagles edged New London 31-37 to win the top spot of the three eligible teams thanks to placing four runners in the top 10. Three other teams did not have enough runners to record team points. Malaina Veeser won the race with a 5K time of 20:43. On the boys side, the Eagles took fourth place as a team with 90 points. Owen Larios Amezquita with a time of 19:02, one of three Eagles to break 20 minutes in the race.
