The Sturgeon Bay Clippers and Southern Door Eagles meet Friday night in Brussels. The Clippers enter the game with a 3-2 conference record (5-5 overall), while the Eagles are 1-3 in conference (4-4 overall).
The Clippers had their game against Luxemburg-Casco rained on Thursday after grinding out a 2-1 win over Algoma on Tuesday. Siggy Hansen posted two hits while Caleb Plzak, Kratcha, and Braylon LaRoche each had one in the win.
Southern Door last played Tuesday in a 12-11 loss against Peshtigo in which the Eagles trailed 10-4 entering the 7th inning. The Eagles mounted a serious comeback thanks partly to run-scoring singles from Isaac Baudhuin, Collin Everard, and a RBI double by Braylon Berg, but had the comeback spoiled in the bottom of the inning.
