Even without senior Ben Grota leading the way, the Southern Door cross country teams still had plenty of runners in the top 10 of their respective races.

 

In the boys race, Lucas Conard paced the Eagles with a second place finish and a 5K time of 18:01. Owen Larios Amezquita and Brayden Vogel also cracked the top 10 as they challenged Peshtigo for the team title. On the girls side, Emma Bousley navigated the 5K course to the tune of fourth place overall, running a time of 21:15. Teammate Addison Miller also cracked 22 minutes to finish in seventh.
