Southern Door, Sturgeon Bay volleyball battle for hurricane relief

The Sturgeon Bay and Southern Door volleyball teams will play opponents much larger than themselves on Tuesday night.

Originally scheduled as a pink-out game, Tuesday's match will also feature a fundraiser for hurricane relief. Similar to last week's football game between the two schools at Sturgeon Bay, all ticket sale proceeds at these two events will go directly to support those affected by recent hurricanes.

On the court, the visiting Clippers enter the match with a 7-22 mark, including six straight losses. They have proven to be a tough out, pushing their opponent to a deciding game 14 times. The Eagles are 7-18 on the year, splitting their matches at the Brillion Invite on Saturday. They swept Green Bay West and Pembine/Goodman while they had the same done to them by host Brillion and Wrightstown.

The first serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
