Southern Door runner Ben Grota was the top local finisher in Thursday's 33-team De Pere Invitational held on the campus of UW-Green Bay.

 

He covered the 5K course in 17:49, which was good for 28th place overall. Emma Bousley paced the girls' squad with a time of 21:53 on the 5K course, putting her in the top 40 overall.
