The Southern Door Eagles could not make a halftime lead stick on Friday night, falling to Brillion 28-12.
Grant Weber got the Eagles on the scoreboard in the first quarter on a three-yard rushing touchdown to make it 6-0. After briefly losing its lead in the second quarter on a short Lions rushing touchdown, Drew Daoust found Landon Berg for a three yard score to make it 12-7 at the break.
The Lions would take control late in the second half with C. Thibodeau scoring two of the team's three touchdowns to send the Eagles back to their locker room for their second straight loss to start the season.
