Eagles Roll Over Bulldogs 74-47 on 96.7 WBDK

Southern Door had no issues starting hot after a week of rest Friday night, beating the visiting Peshtigo Bulldogs 74-47.

How the score got to that point may not be what you expect if you look at season stats.  The Eagles would jump to an 18-point halftime lead and finish the game with 5 Eagles with double-digit point totals.

The Eagles' leading scorer in the first half was Tyler Neinas, who scored 10 points, followed by Caden Pierre, who added 8. Each of them would finish the game with 14 points.  Drew Daoust would be the leading scorer in the game, adding nine second-half points to his seven first-half points.  After sitting the final 8 minutes of the first half after picking up two fouls, Mathew Malvitz would finish the game with 10 points, and James Fish helped salt the game away down the stretch, ending the game with 12 points.

The leading scorer all season for the Bulldogs was Dominik Baxter, but the Eagles would hold him to 11 points, which trailed only Will McMahon on the Peshtigo score column.

The victory earned the Eagles a chance to host a Regional Final game against the Clintonville Tuckers on Saturday night, which will be broadcast again on 96.7 and NewRadioSportsNetwork.
