The Southern Door girls' basketball had a special experience that left a sour taste in their mouths after losing to Crivitz 47-44 at the Oshkosh Arena on Saturday afternoon.

The Oshkosh Arena is the home of the G-League's Wisconsin Herd and Global Women's Basketball Association's Wisconsin GLO in addition to several high school basketball games each year. The Eagles held a three-point lead at the break but could not hold onto the lead against the Wolverines.

Payton Gilbertson led the Eagles with 17 points, while Sophia Counard and Bella Price each had eight points. The Eagles were done in by Kiya Brand, who scored 18 points in the Wolverines' victory.
