Eagles boys soar past Pioneers

The Southern Door Eagles scored over 50 points in the first half as they beat cross-county rival Sevastopol 92-32 on Saturday.

Drew Daoust led the assault, scoring 19 of the Eagles' 53 points in the first half to pace the visitors. He ended his day with 27 points, but he had plenty of help as four other Eagles players reached double figures. Caden Pierre poured in 15 points with five three-pointers, Lauden Berg scored 13, and Tyler Neinas and William Jandrin added 12 points apiece. Lucas Delsart scored 11 points for the Pioneers, knocking down three three-pointers in the process. Oliver Matthews added nine points and two others scored at least five points.
