Eagles boys return to Brussels to face Sheboygan South

The Southern Door boys' basketball kicks off the week in their own friendly confines as they welcome Sheboygan South to Brussels on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

 

Southern Door ended up losing a tied game at halftime, falling to Seymour 59-49 on the road. Drew Daoust picked up right where he left off last season, scoring 18 of his team-29 points in the first half. They were all needed as they entered the break against the Thunder tied at 23. The Thunder would pull away in the second half. Kyler Marks (19 points) and Tru Cornell (17 points) combined to score 24 of their 36 points after the break to lead their team past the Eagles. Caden Pierre scored 11 points for the Eagles, hitting two of his three three-pointers in the second half. Matthew Malvitz (five points) and Landen Berg (four points) rounded out the scoring for the Eagles. 

 

The Falcons lost their opener to Kohler 74-54.
