The Southern Door Eagles boys basketball team begins their season on Tuesday with a road non-conference matchup against Seymour.

The Eagles are the defending Packerland champions after going 15-1 in the conference. Their season ended against Campbellsport in the regional final. Head coach Josh Vandenbush welcomes back one of the state's top scorers, Drew Daoust (32.1 ppg). However, he will have some big pieces to replace after Taylor Schaefer and Jared Hawkey graduated last year. 

The Thunder finished 12-14 last year, falling to Ashwaubenon in the regional semi-final. Leading scorer Tru Cornell (12.4 ppg) returns for his senior season.
