The Southern Door cross country team stood tall among a large field at the Sheboygan Area Lutheran Crusader Challenge on Tuesday.

 

For the girls, Emma Bousley ran a season-best 21:08 to lead the Eagles with a ninth-place finish. Two of the team's runners set personal bests as the Eagles earned a 15th-place finish overall.

 

Ben Grota once again paced the boys squad with a time of 18:12 on the 5K course, which was good for 16th overall. The boys as a team finished in the top half of the field.
