The Southern Door Eagles boys' basketball team finished their Packerland Conference title-bearing season with a 76-66 victory over NEW Lutheran Saturday afternoon.

Drew Daoust even exceeded his extremely high offensive output, registering 42 points in the matinee, including 26 in the second half alone thanks in part to four three-pointers. The points were needed as the Eagles trailed the Blazers by one at the break. 

Jared Hawkey contributed 12 points, and three others added at least seven points in the victory for the Eagles. Tristian Lynch's 21 points led the Blazers with Griffin Steffel chipping in 16 points and Jack Henschel contributing 14 points. 

The Eagles will wait for Kewaskum or Two Rivers to visit Brussels next Friday. That game will be broadcast on U 102.1
