The Southern Door Eagles will look to make it 18 straight wins to close the regular season when they travel to Green Bay to take on the NEW Lutheran Blazers.
Southern Door has not lost since before the winter break, when they fell to Cedarburg to make their record average at 3-3. Since then, their record has shot up to 20-3 and they claimed the second seed in the WIAA Division 3 playoffs. Drew Daoust still remains third in the state in scoring average with 32.4, only 3 points behind the state leader. The Eagles have done it as a team however, with multiple players contributing at multiple levels, including Lance LeGrave who has been a pleasant surprise for the Eagles this season.
For NEW Lutheran, they are coming off of a blowout win over the Sevastopol Pioneers 84-25. The Blazers fell by three the last time these two teams faced off, as they felt the wrath of Drew Daoust’s second highest scoring game of his career, as he finished with 41. Tristian Lynch and Elijah Meerstein have been the models of consistency this season, and the Blazers will look to get that from them one last time this regular season.
Tip from Green Bay is set for 2:00 P.M.
