Southern Door freshman Emma Bousley will take on her biggest stage yet on Saturday when she runs in the WIAA State Cross Country meet in Wisconsin Rapids.

Bousley earned her spot as one of the top five runners not competing as a qualified team member. She reached the leaderboard in 10th place at the Manitowoc Lutheran sectional with a time of 21:23. She has cracked the 21:30 barrier five times, including two times breaking 21 minutes. 

Bousley and fellow Packerland runner Hannah Miller of Kewaunee will both line up in Corral 10 at the Division 3 Girls State Meet Race, which begins at noon on Saturday.
