The Southern Door Eagles will have to face a tall task to get to sectionals as they travel to Howards Grove on Saturday. 

Southern Door was able to battle back against the Lancers of Manitowoc Lutheran on Thursday night. The Eagles faced an early deficit after dropping the first two sets by a score of 17-25 and 18-25. After some changes were made and a shift of momentum, Southern Door battled all the way back to force a 5th set after a 2-2 series tie. The Eagles would go on to win 15-13 in that last set, completing the reverse sweep of the Lancers. 

Howards Grove ran through the Algoma Wolves with ease, with a sweep in scores of 25-6, 25-10 and 25-8. The Tigers are the reigning champions in the state in Division 5, and will be a tall task for the Eagles. Southern Door is rolling in with some momentum and recently some good volleyball being played, but we will see if that is enough for the Eagles. 

The match is set to be played in Howards Grove at 7:00.
