With their backs against the wall, the Southern Door Eagles pulled off the comeback Thursday night against Manitowoc Lutheran 17-25, 18-25, 25-23, 25-13, 15-13.

Leading the Eagles back from a two-deficit to a five-set victory were Kendra Shimon (5 aces, 16 kills, nine digs), Allianna Dufek (9 blocks, seven kills), Paige Olson (10 kills), Greta Gutschow (25 digs), and Alaina Shimon (36 assists, four kills, three aces). 

The Eagles will now face defending state champion Howards Grove on the road for a 7 p.m. regional final match.
