The Southern Door Eagles boys' basketball team hopes to keep their late-season surge going when they host Gibraltar Friday night

Since the Eagles beat the Vikings 60-53 in Fish Creek earlier this year, both teams have gone 7-2 in their games since. The Vikings beat Sevastopol 75-40 and the Eagles held off Algoma 64-51. Drew Daoust scored 21 points in the game to lead the Eagles as they go deeper into their bench as the season gets closer to the playoffs. Both teams feature 20 point scorers, though the Vikings rely on the senior leadership of Sam Lindenberg while the freshman Daoust has been leading the way for the Eagles.

Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. on 105.1 The GOAT with the pregame beginning with Reece Robillard and Bryan Mazur on the call at 7 p.m.
