The Southern Door boys' basketball team caught fire in the first half and did not let up in its 68-54 win over Two Rivers Monday night.
The Eagles outscored the Purple Raiders 36-19 to give them a lead they would not give up. Nic Pierre hit five three-pointers in the game en route to an 18 point evening while Drew Daoust once again impressed with a team-high 25 points. The Purple Raiders needed nine three-pointers in the second half to keep the game within striking distance. Eli Gallager's four-triples in the second half led him to a 14 point evening.
The Eagles will play at Sturgeon Bay on Thursday and will be broadcast on 104.1 WRLU and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
