Within three hours of beginning its search for a new opponent, Southern Door will fly (more accurately drive) south for its game on Friday.

Athletic Director Korey Mallien told NEW Radio Sports Network Wednesday morning that the Eagles will head to Marshall High School for its game on Friday after Peshtigo was forced to cancel their matchup. Playing in the Eastern Suburban Conference in the Madison-area, Marshall is 6-0 after beating Dodgeland 62-8 last week. They had their game against Cambridge canceled this week, which put them in the same boat as the Eagles. Waterloo and Lancaster were also in the mix for the possible replacement game.
