Southern Door football is in need of a new opponent before this Friday.

 

Athletic director Korey Mallien put the call out for a new opponent after 8 a.m. on  Wednesday, saying they only lost their originally scheduled game.

 

 

The Eagles were originally scheduled to play Peshtigo, which has already forfeited two games this season to Mishicot and Oconto. They most recently lost to Lourdes Academy last Friday night 42-0. Mallien could not be reached for additional comment on the cancellation as of 11:30 a.m.

 

Southern Door had to be quick on their feet to fill an open spot on their schedule last year when Kewaunee opted to not play last fall, instead arranging a game with Luxemburg-Casco.
