For the second time in a month, Southern Door wrestler Grant Englebert finished on the second step of the podium.

 

Englebert took second place at the Corn Cob Nationals in Des Moines, IA on Saturday in the Boys 15 - 18 Years Old - 163-pound division. He picked up a pair of pins over the weekend, including one in the semifinals over Lucas Wendling in the semi-finals to clinch the championship match berth. He would later fall to William Penn University's Cameron Hargrove 5-2.

 

Englebert took second place in last month's WIAA Division 3 State Tournament and later committed to wrestling at UW-LaCrosse.
