The Southern Door Eagles boys’ basketball team filed another conference win on Monday night over the Sturgeon Bay Clippers, 63-48. The Eagles entered the matchup undefeated in the Packerland Conference while the Clippers had not seen conference action this season due to COVID-19 complications. Sturgeon Bay put the first points of the game on the board but the Eagles did not let that lead last for long, accumulating a 13-point halftime lead over the Clippers. Nic Pierre and Alex Daoust tallied the high scores for the Eagles with 12 points a piece. Sturgeon Bay saw two players reach double digit figures in Anthony Jennerjohn and Carson Dvorak but it was not enough for a win. Sturgeon Bay will look for another conference win opportunity on Thursday when they travel to Peshtigo for 7:30pm. The Eagles have another opportunity to remain perfect in conference when they visit Sevastopol on Thursday for a 7:30pm start time.
