The Southern Door cross country had several top 20 finishers in Thursday's Packerland Conference championships at Cherry Hills Golf Course in Sturgeon Bay.

 

The girls took second place on the afternoon with 44 points, finishing behind Sevastopol's 18. Brooke Strege paced the Eagles with a time of 22:45 on the hilly 5K course, which was good for sixth place overall. Other top runners for the Eagles included:

The boys were one of three squads that did not have enough runners to qualify for a team title, which narrowly went to Sevastopol.  Mason Massart's time of 20:44 was good for 14th overall to lead the Eagles. Other runners included:

The Eagles will travel to Luxemburg to compete in the WIAA Division Subsectional.
