It could be a while before Southern Door plays again after its game Friday against Oconto.

Kewaunee athletic director Brian Rabas told NRSN that he has notified Southern Door athletic director Korey Mallien that the Storm would not be able to play in next Friday's game due to his district being 100 percent virtual learning. Kewaunee had hoped to play at least the football season in the fall after pushing its other sports to the alternative spring season, similar to what Southern Door has done for its volleyball program.

That means Southern Door will likely not play until October 23rd when it travels to play Sheboygan Falls.
